Having attended the Fifth International Interdisciplinary Congress on Women in Costa Rica (1993) and the Sixth in Australia (1996), I know women are in store for a delightful and uplifting experience. Linking with women from all over the world is inspiring.   The United Nations Conference on Women in Bejing brought women together from Non-governmental Organizations from social and grass roots level.   The Interdisciplinary focus brings in women from intellectual and scientific communities to share their expertise, research, and insights on every aspect of women's lives.   The cultural and information exchange is carried back to the grass roots of every participating country and the world will continue to change for the better because of it.
